The Engineering Academy of Ukraine (EA of Ukraine) is an all-Ukrainian public scientific and technical organization that unites on a voluntary basis engineers, specialists and scientists of the country in the field of natural, technical and economic sciences, as well as heads of enterprises and organizations of all forms of ownership on the basis of their common interests.

The Academy is the legal successor of the Ukrainian Republican Branch of the USSR Engineering Academy, created in 1990 at the initiative of regional representatives of the scientific and technical community of Ukraine and with the support of the Academy of Sciences and the Council of Ministers of the USSR.
The Academy in every possible way contributes to the acceleration and development of scientific and technological progress, the introduction of the achievements of science and technology into production, the strengthening of the intellectual and innovative potential of the state, the growth of the prestige of engineering work, professional consolidation and the improvement of the social status of engineers and scientists in Ukraine.
