The Engineering Academy of Ukraine is an all-Ukrainian public scientific and technical organization that unites on a voluntary basis engineers, specialists and scientists of the country in the field of natural, technical and economic sciences, as well as managers of enterprises and organizations of all forms of ownership based on the commonality of their interests.

The Academy is the legal successor of the Ukrainian Republican branch of the Engineering Academy of the USSR, created in 1990 at the initiative of regional representatives of the scientific and technical community of Ukraine and with the support of the Academy of Sciences and the Council of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR.
The Academy contributes in every possible way to the acceleration and development of scientific and technical progress, the implementation of scientific and technical achievements in production, the strengthening of the intellectual and innovative potential of the state, the growth of the prestige of engineering work, professional consolidation and the improvement of the social status of engineers and scientists in Ukraine.

The goal of the Engineering Academy of Ukraine is:
- to unite the efforts of scientists and engineers of Ukraine, enterprises and organizations of various forms of ownership to increase intellectual potential in the field of engineering activity; organization of the most important and promising research and development, as well as promotion of creation based on the achievements of fundamental sciences of fundamentally new types of equipment, technology of materials, which have important economic importance and ensure the acceleration of scientific and technical progress in the key directions of the development of the state’s economy.
- to forecast and determine the priority directions for the development of the scientific and technical potential of Ukraine, to develop proposals for its modernization; ensuring high competitiveness of engineering developments.
In order to successfully implement the specified goals and statutory tasks, the Academy:
- interacts through its structures and members of the Academy with state bodies, departments and ministries, local self-government bodies, enterprises and organizations of all forms of ownership;
- participates in the formation and implementation of state, regional and branch scientific and technical programs, including the international ones;
- establishes close cooperation with other academies, state and public scientific and technical organizations of Ukraine and other countries.
The Academy has 21 scientific and technical sections and 20 regional departments, 5 of its own institutes and centres to conduct research. The Academy is an associate member of the Federation of Scientists of Ukraine.

Greeting
On June 12, 2025, the General Meeting of the Engineering Academy of Ukraine was held, at which new members of the Academy were elected.
23 scientists and engineers became active members of the Academy, and 64 representatives of the scientific and engineering community from 14 regions of Ukraine became corresponding members.
Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Anatoly Andriyovych Shcherba was elected an honorary member of the Engineering Academy of Ukraine.
7 foreign scientists became foreign members of the Academy.
Among the newly elected members of the Academy, 86% have a doctorate or candidate of sciences degree.
The Presidium of the Engineering Academy of Ukraine congratulates the newly elected members of the Academy, wishes them good health, peace, further scientific achievements and success in their professional activities.
We express our firm confidence in their fruitful work at the Engineering Academy of Ukraine, which will contribute to increasing the prestige of scientific and technical activities and increasing the authority of scientists and engineers in Ukraine and abroad.
